HealthPort

Overview
HealthPort is the North Shore-LIJ Health System’s intranet.  The site is designed to bring news, information and services to users directly at their desktops.  Physicians will find useful information including:

• Access to clinical applications
• Library services, with direct full-text access to numerous clinical journals, Micromedex, and other helpful resources
• Information on upcoming and ongoing Continuing Medical Education Programs.
• Daily WebMD news feeds
• Over 100 forms, including OR Booking Form for LIJ, referral forms for Weight Mgmt, Sleep Disorder Center and Radiology
• Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Updates

Access to HealthPort while on the network
All physicians affiliated with North Shore-LIJ are eligible for HealthPort access.  

• To get to HealthPort type “healthport” or “nslijhealthport” (without quote marks) in the address bar of any web browser on a PC within the Health System computer network. 

• If you already have a HealthPort account, and are within the network, click here to get to HealthPort.

Access to HealthPort while remote (off the network)

• If you are outside the network and you have a RAP token, click here to get to HealthPort.

• If you do not already have a HealthPort account or need remote access to the site, please visit your hospital’s medical library, where the librarians will be happy to help you set up your user account or begin the process of getting your Remote Access Portal (RAP) token.
